Analyzed if obesity can can alter genomes using zebrafish as a model organism

My name is Meghan Violette and I received a degree in biology in hopes of pursing dental school. I have been a member of the research team since November of 2022. The main objective of the research is to see if obesity can alter a genome. More specifically, I will analyze differences between genomes of zebra fishes using a control genome of normally fed fish compared to the overfed or obese zebrafish genome and observe any differences between them.
