Preparing to apply to medical school in the 2024 application cycle
Completed an Honors thesis investigating quinone-mediated treatments on the Warburg effect
I am an honors graduate from the University of Tampa class of 2022 where I earned my B.S. in biology, B.A. in biochemistry and minor in psychology. As part of my undergraduate experience, I completed an Honors thesis investigating quinone-mediated treatments on the Warburg effect under the guidance of my mentor and research professor, Dr. Kimberly Dobrinski. Such research consisted of testing deliberate concentrations of carefully selected quinones on cancerous cell lines growing via different metabolic strategies and performing proliferation assays to determine cell viability. I recently worked full time as a certified pharmacy technician and immunizer with CVS Health, as well as working as a research assistant at Moffitt Cancer Center, while preparing to apply to medical school in the 2024 application cycle.
